Volunteers are sought to present awards at Eagle Scout Courts of Honor. Additional information about the Arthur M. and Berdena King Eagle Scout Scholarship is available through the National Society Sons of the American Revolution.
The George S. and Stella M. Knight Essay Contest

This program is designed to give high school students an opportunity to explore events that shaped American history. At the chapter, state, and national society levels, students must submit an original essay, with topics based on original research that address an event, person, philosophy, or ideal associated with the American Revolution, the Declaration of Independence, or the framing of the Constitution. Cash awards are presented at each level of competition. The contest is open to students in grades nine through twelve.

C.A.R. Activity
The National Society of the Children of the American Revolution (C.A.R.) is an independent organization of young persons through twenty-one years of age who are lineal descendants of a patriot of the American Revolution. While independent, the C.A.R. looks to the National Society Sons of the American Revolution, the Daughters of the American Revolution, and the General Society of the Sons of the Revolution for leadership and financial support.

The organization needs adult leaders, financial support, and members. A member of the Sons of the American Revolution may hold a senior leader office in a local, state, regional, or national capacity. Direct descendants of SAR and DAR members, from birth through twenty-two years of age, are eligible for membership. If you have a relative or friend who is interested, please contact your chapter president. Additional information can be found through the National Society of the Children of the American Revolution.
